The purpose of the Discipleship Class to help believers know what they believe and why they believe it. The Bible teaches us in Matthew 28:19-20 that we are to “make disciples,” and that we are to teach them to observe all of what Jesus commanded. In addition, the Bible tells us in 1 Peter 3:15 that Christians are to “always be prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you.” So the Discipleship Class helps believers do these two things so that they can be confident in their faith and share it with others.
We meet on Sunday from 9:30 - 10:15 a.m. We have fellowship and snacks while discussing God's Word.
The Discipleship Class uses different formats. Currently we meet as a discussion group going over the Gospel of Luke, using Philip Ryken's commentary Luke: 2 Volume Set.
